Our aim is to provide quality books and devotional items, which faithfully express the Catholic Tradition.
My name is Maree Cochrane and I am the manager of The Cathedral Gift & Book Store which was founded in 2002 to serve the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton. We are located in the Cathedral Centre, next to St Joseph's Cathedral. We offer a carefully selected range of items to enrich your spiritual journey.
Being the foundation Manager I have had the privilege of watching the Bookstore grow. The unique service that is offered to the Diocese of Rockhampton is enhanced by the tireless effort of our dedicated volunteers.
A quick browse through the shelves will reveal books ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, theology to iconology, preaching to parenting, devotionals to humor, and church history to social issues.
The Gift and Bookstore is the perfect place to purchase for sacraments, conferences, retreats, and book clubs, reading groups, prayer groups, Bible study, meditation, school resources and seasonal events. Plus we carry church and clerical supplies, children's books, gifts and candles.

MISSION STATEMENT
St Joseph's Cathedral Gift & Bookstore offers a service to the Catholic Community of the Diocese of Rockhampton to provide resources which support the growth of faith development of its people. We value all staff members and volunteers, calling them to work as a team, sharing in the ministry of Jesus with a spirit of compassion, acceptance and respect for all.
